Job Description
CLS is looking for Service Notification Agents local to Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA. The Service Notification Agent is responsible for processing service notifications, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely communication with customers regarding service updates. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with service policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Driving and following mapping apps of the assigned route for deliveries to customers using mapping technologies (i.e. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Bing Maps, etc.)
- Delivery of notices in weather of all seasons, on paved and unpaved roads, entering properties via porches, backyards, alleys, driveways, using stairs, ramps, hallways, and traversing terrain that may not be even or level
- Follow all safety policies of the client and Contract Land Staff.
- Must wear PPE while working, which includes hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, safety shoes, and client badge at a minimum.
- Process and issue service notices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review, process, map, and update the computer-based service management system for each notice.
- Communicate with customers regarding service updates, schedules, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and follow-up on service requests.
- Identify and escalate service issues requiring additional attention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in generating reports related to service activities.
- Support field technicians by providing necessary computer entries, documentation, and updates.
Job Requirements:
- Must be local to Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Must be technologically savvy.
- Must be willing to travel upwards of 1,000 miles per week.
Qualifications (minimum and preferred requirements):
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, administrative, or customer service role.
- Self-motivated while working independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using service management software, phone-based mapping apps, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Daily (up to 8 hours) driving and delivery, so must have well maintained vehicle
- Must be able to enter and exit your vehicle throughout the entire day and drive for periods over 2 hours.
- Must be able to traverse uneven terrain and deliver up/downstairs in all seasons.
