Job Description

CLS is looking for a CRM analyst to provided business support and guidance in the CRM domains (Salesforce, ERP tools, and other systems as needed) local to Houston, TX. Works directly with the Business Development and Finance teams to analyze data from customer interactions within the domains to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, ultimately aiming to improve customer experience and business outcomes. Utilize and measure client opportunities and other market data.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Business Development team to create, enter, and manage customer opportunities throughout the sales life cycle
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within the CRM system
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with the Business Development and Finance teams.
  • Establish a repeatable, scalable process to efficiently manage opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Integrate acquired entities into the CLS CRM system.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses, as needed, to support client relationship marketing efforts, and to answer questions from requestors of client contact and performance information
  • Other key responsibilities would include but are not limited to data collection and cleaning, predictive analysis and trend identification, process improvement, and insight generation.
Accountability: 

  • This position is responsible for working with all office staff, ensuring a healthy work environment and the satisfaction of all staff, both corporate and project.
  • Must be able to work effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, including Board members, clients, applicants, vendors and others.

Qualification Requirements (minimum and preferred requirements):  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree in finance, business, economics, or related analytical field from four-year college or university.  Minimum 1-2 years of related experience required.
  • Knowledge of business development processes and CRM systems. Expertise with SalesForce is preferred, but not required.

Licensing:

  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must maintain minimum automobile liability insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.

Language Skills:

  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write detailed reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees and managers.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and do basic math.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Other Skills And Abilities:

  • Advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Intermediate skills in a CRM system are required.
  • Working knowledge of all other Microsoft Office applications.
